sorry for making it such an eyesore, it was a 3 minute google slide collage. This was my build. Forgot to show that my turret was using the snow slow. Another bug I found was that when you have triple blasters and use an item that only has 2 ammo left, It briefly goes to -1 then to zero, then reloads. The problem is that it still fires three bullets.
just discovered that when you put the slow snow item on the turret, because turrets don't reload, it just goes absolutely ham. I'm not saying this should be nerfed, but it is very powerful. Could you also please switch the double and triple sight things into the barrel category, as there are not many barrels but so many sight options. Another suggestion is that if you have multiple of the same item in your inventory, then the affects could become stronger, maybe not damage, but E.G for the shield, if you have 2 or more, the recharge time would be shorter.
bug report: when it time for the shop, we just vanished and cant move (the sounds still going) (after i killed a big one (i killed the 3 spawn instanly))
The shop comes every 10 rounds, so at wave 10, 20, 30,... not 15. And yea this bug exists, I think because the game is in browser. In Steam it shouldn't bug.
The perks are really fun! I came up with an idea for another mod, it makes you able to dodge through enemies and projectiles, but makes the recharge half as long.
I like your idea, but I'm not completely sure what you mean. So, you can dash through enemies and their projectiles, but you dash reload time is twice as long?
also, I have an idea for how at least some of the inventory could work:
what if, for things like scopes, all three effects are active (but you start with only like 1 slot, so a passive upgrade could give you extra scope slots for more bonuses)
Due to how the game was written, this would be very difficult to implement and would take a lot of work, so I'm focusing on other content at the moment. These ideas are all super cool and inspiring though :)
idea: for the character, what if there were different headbands that changed your dash? (and maybe there could be different chips or something for the turret to change it's ai, that could be cool)
diffrend characters can be diffrend colors like green or light blue with diffrend starting wepons and the diffrend macanics can be with the diffrend turets. What if you made a support turret that if you shot through it the bullets get stonger or if you dash through it you get a shield or someting like that

I think you mean that projectiles set off the ice mines. This was intentional, as otherwise, the ice mines wouldn't go off as frequently. Thank you for the feedback, though, and thanks for playing.

I have tried to recreate the bug and instead of deleting one item when picking up the other I was able to pick up one of the two with the image of the item staying then when i tried to pick it up it did not appear when picking it up.
This may not be related to picking it up at the same time.
Both times I have observed the bug the deleted item has been shockwave.
I attempted to recreate it with the knife but it worked as intended.

I really do think that allowing multiple slots to cause epic synnergies could be awesome (and having multiple of the same item to level it up would also be epic
I am currently working on passives for the next update :D Health upgrades and passives will appear in the shop. I would also love to be able to combine weapon parts, but that would take a lot of time, so it wouldn't be added soon.

I Really like the new slow snow weapon, Although it has such a small ammo capacity (because it makes it balanced), but what if later in the game, the a way to reforge a weapon for gold or a weapon or upgrade, E.G you can reforge the slow snow to have a faster reload speed. or have a larger ammo capacity. Could their also be an option in settings that give a sort of countdown when you have been in the inventory for more than 10 seconds or something. (time could also be adjustable)

sorry for being unclear with the timer part, What I mean by 'timer' is that the game could measure how long the inventory has been open for, and if it takes longer than a chosen time, then a countdown would occur when the player exits the inventory. Could you also add next to the knockback rates a word like high or medium next to it so it is a bit more clear for newer players? ( you could also do this with the other stats as well if you want) Also very exited for the passives in the next update as well!

Honestly one of the main complaints I have is just that the lower level gear drops just start to become useless once you have chosen your perfect loadout for a slot (and the second and third slots seem to be useless rn) but I can't stop playing the game lmao
These drops are useless at a certain point, so I think I'll make their drop rate much lower the further into the game that you are :)

very exited about this score, was starting to think though, once the health mechanic does get implemented, people could just go forever (or for a really long time) even though the game does get progressively harder. Would need some balancing in the late game. not sure how tho.
Yes, this problem had come across my mind too. I think I'll make healing an almost essential part of the game, so I'll make enemies deal more damage, meaning you would have to heal to even make it to wave 30. If you do have any other solutions though, please let me know :)
bug report cause i died at wave 26 while my shield is on, and with the new turret force field is kinda bad. because if u use that, u have too be inside of the turret, cause if not, the enemies will get push to u most of the time, can you make it so that it can be equiped by the player too?
Hey, Thanks for the info! Sorry, you died here. In the shield's description, it says that it only protects against projectiles, but I see how this isn't obvious. If you died to a projectile, then I'll have to look into the bug.
For the next update, I'll make the shield protect you against melee attacks too. I also know that the new turret shockwave mod needs to be worked on. I'll make it work for the player too, soon.
bro i already love this game, its like brotato with better graphics + better projectiles, AND its a free web game?!?! count me in! (my best wave is wave 25 and my build was triple spectral arrows with the fire barrel and the bubble mod. The turret had strategic legs, glowing orbs, tripple barrel and the fire barrel so if u wanna get to a later wave this build is very good!)
I suggest adding a passive item system, maybe that could be what you buy with coins (I love passive items in roguelikes lmao (I can give passive upgrade ideas if that helps)
Passive items are something that I've wanted to add for a while, so I certainly plan on implementing them in a future update. For now, I'm going to work on fleshing out the upgrade system, and then I'll get started on passive items. If you have any ideas for passive items, then feel free to let me know. I can't promise anything, but ideas are always helpful and inspiring!

I also think you should add a store where u can purchase guns or hearts and hearts could be a rare drop or an every five or every 10 waves reward! For a shop I personally think you should just add a screen after the wave where you could spend your coins. Good luck with the game!
I would love to add a shop to the game eventually, and I think I'll be adding weapon upgrades/parts soon that will heal you, so hearts in the shop would probably be used to increase your max health. Healing would then be taken care of by upgrades.

Changing "fire rate" to "fire delay" is something I meant to do a while ago, thanks for reminding me ;) I have to work out how to add more depth to progression, and the idea of upgrading/merging weapon parts sounds like a good idea to me. To clarify, by "screen effects" I meant the CRT-esque screen bending effect (looking at corners hurts). Having another option to disable some visual effects (like the stuff that splatters out from dead enemies) would also be nice though.
(P.S. I forgot to add this in my last post but the ability to rebind controls to different keys would be neat.)
(P.P.S: The player should be able to equip Legs equipment to affect their movement speed & dash distance.)
(P.P.P.S: Melee weapons like a sword or pike would be a neat addition.)
I feel a visual effect and also maybe a sound should play when the player gets hit. +Maybe a index of all the weapons and mods that the player has collected so far and what they do and their damage and etc could help, would save after death (like a main menu button or something)
I totally agree with this. The player health system was added in a bit of a hurry as I wanted to get the game published, but I will work on it. An index of all the parts and mods you've collected sounds like a good idea, too.

I've implemented a system to get rid of items in your inventory and you can now right click to reload. The tutorial should only have been appearing once, so that must have been a bug :P (fixed now though) I would like to implement a way to regain health and I need to work out a good way of implementing I-frames.
I like the upgrade system because it brings variety
I like the art style and music
I like that you added the dash cooldown as a “headband”
Some things that I found initially confusing:
The upgrade system wasn’t intuitive for me, e.g. only the first slot is equipped, and the others are just storage (I understood it after reading your description, but it would be nice to make it more apparent in the game)
It wasn’t clear what all these different icons in the shop mean (perhaps a tooltip would help here?)
More often than not I misinterpreted the “coins” as enemy bullets and tried to dodge them and run into enemies :P
I didn’t really notice when I got hit because there is no feedback (sound/visual), just the HP on the bottom-left, but I didn’t look at it when I was busy dodging all the enemies
I agree the upgrade system needs tooltips and a tutorial would certainly be more helpful. I'll see what I can do to make coins more visible while they're flying towards you. The player health system needs a bit of work as it was added in a bit of a hurry because I really wanted to get the demo published.

very sad, my game had the long wait bug here, is their a fix to this?
I noticed an item despawn right before the next wave, I don't think it's that, but it's a possibility.

ingame similarities between the times i've experienced this bug
1) shockwave on turret
2) snowball on turret
3) health is at 1.5 ish hearts
4) wave ends in 6

If you pick up an item and are in the range of another instance of the item it picks up one and destroys the other

I tried picking up a better barrel and something similar to what has been mentioned before happened
The order i picked up items in were Better barrel(succeeded in equipping this one)->Better sight->Better Barrel(the one that ceaced to exist)

Bassically certain items can have really cool upgrades you get with coins and how many waves youve gone through.
like the laser sight having an upgrade where it gives things perfect accuracy/more range
or the bouncy balls having more bounces
stuff like that lol

my best score, i wold like if u give us :
- a way to trash/sell? items quickly (not just letting the item de-spawn)
- give I frames after taking damage and on the dash
- a way to customize the button (my brain want to reload with right click so bad)
- a way to gain back hp
- after the first play trough stop giving the tutorial
overall 10/10 i like the game so far (kinda addicted)

what are the dots you collect for? If they have no use other than score, than maybe they could be used to heal, once you collect enough.

The dots are coins, part of an incomplete upgrade system. I would like to add some sort of shop maybe where you could buy upgrades and restore health.

I agree the upgrade system needs tooltips and a tutorial would certainly be more helpful.
I'll see what I can do to make coins more visible while they're flying towards you. The player health system needs a bit of work as it was added in a bit of a hurry because I really wanted to get the demo published.
